Guys, you may not think about doing it, but you should..It is time to work your butt with these 4 best at home butt exercises for men over 40. Not only can it help you look good, but working your lower body always has great benefits. Mainly because it utilizes compound exercises that work other muscles as well. To make these exercises a little more difficult, I recommend you use dumbbells to take it to the next level. Your glutes are big muscles that need more resistance to get a good workout. You don’t need to go to the gym for this workout, you can do it at home with a set of dumbbells. Let’s get started with the exercises in this workout with the 4 best at home butt exercises.

Exercise #1: GOBLET SQUAT. Have your feet about shoulder width apart. Make sure to stick your butt out, and hinge at the hips when initiating the movement. Keep the dumbbell close to your chest throughout the whole movement, and go down as far as you can. At least aim for 90 degrees with your knees, if your body allows you to go that deep.

Exercise #2: LUNGES. Take a step forward and drop straight down so your back knee touches the ground. Just make sure not to rest on the back knee, keep the pressure on your quads on your front leg. You are going to alternate and do both sides. If you have bad knees and this hurts you, you can try doing reverse lunges and step backwards. Doing that can help alleviate some pressure from your knees.

Exercise #3: ROMANIAN DEADLIFT. Same as the goblet squat, the first thing you want to do is stick your butt out. Keep a slight bend in your knees, and ride the dumbbells down your legs until you get just past your knees. Make sure you are not actually squatting down because then that is not a Romanian Deadlift.

Exercise #4: GLUTE BRIDGE. Lay on the ground, with your legs bent at a 90 degree angle and your feet flat on the ground. You are then going to drive your hips into the air, to where your torso and upper legs are straight. Squeeze and hold at the top of the movement for a couple of seconds, and you can rest the dumbbell on your lower stomach.
