Are you looking for a great core workout that you can do at home, in little to no time at all. Well today, I have a great 5-Minute at home core workout for men over 40. This doesn’t just focus on your abs, this workout is going to focus on your entire core. It is important to have a strong and stable core for all that you do. That is why the exercises in this core workout are going to help you get great results fast. Let’s get started with the exercises in this 5 minute at home core workout for men over 40.

You are going to do 60 seconds of each exercise for a total of 5 minutes in this workout for your core at home. If you want to challenge yourself, you can do a total of 2-3 rounds of these exercises to get even better results.

Exercise #1: REVERSE CRUNCHES. Lay flat on the ground with your feet slightly elevated. Bring your knees to your chest, and kick your legs up. Make sure that you are rotating your hips, as you bring your knees to your chest.

Exercise #2: ELBOW PLANK WITH REACHES. It is a standard plank, except you are going to reach your arm forward one side at a time. Utilize slow and controlled movements to have good form throughout the entire exercise.

Exercise #3: SIDE ELBOW PLANK. You are going to hold a plank on each side for a total of seconds for each side. Work to keep your body straight and your core contracted for the whole 60 seconds on each side.

Exercise #4: SHOULDER TAP PLANKS. You are going to be in a push-up position, and tap your shoulder with the opposite hand. Alternate sides throughout the entire 60 seconds. Utilize good form by having slow and controlled movements, to get the best results for your core.
