Not everyone has weights or goes to the gym, but don’t let that stop you from building muscle. Here are 5 ways to build muscle without lifting weights. Something I want you to focus on before these tips is you need to focus on your nutrition. Cleaning up your nutrition is important for helping to get lean and build muscle. Now let’s get started with the exercises to build muscle without lifting weights.
Exercise #1: TRICON SQUAT. You want to create more time under tension. This will be 3 reps, the first 3 are explosive, the second 3 are isometric holds, and the last 3 are super slow reps.
Exercise #2: TRICON PUSHUPS. You don’t need to do multiple pushups at a time, although that is great for muscular endurance. To really build the muscle, focus on hypertrophy with the tricon set.
Exercise #3: PULLUP/PULLDOWN. If you don’t have anything to do pullups with, you can use resistance bands and do a tricon pulldown set.
Exercise #4: SQUAT JUMPS. Really focus on nice, explosive jumps. Make sure to focus on landing softly so you are not putting too much pressure on the joints.
Exercise #5: SPRINTING. This is not only a great muscle builder, but a great fat burner as well. Focus on going all out for 20-30 seconds and then rest for a little bit, and do it again. For every minute, 20 seconds is sprinting.
These are things you can do at the gym, at home, at the park, anywhere really. You don’t always need access to weights to be able to build muscle.
