Increase Pushups For Beginners…https://www.liveanabolic.com

Are you struggling to do a lot of pushups, or maybe even struggling to do any pushups? I am here to help in today’s video to show you how to increase pushups for beginners! Pushups are one of the most basic exercises, especially when you are younger. Now let’s go over the process to help you increase the number of pushups that you can do consecutively.

Tip #1: FIND THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PUSHUPS YOU CAN DO. If you are struggling to do pushups, and you can’t do at least 5 then I want you to do a modified push-up. I want you to do HEAD-ELEVATED PUSHUPS until you build enough strength to do at least 6 or 7 pushups at one time. This version helps make it easier because the higher your hands are, the easier it is. You can also do KNEE PUSHUPS to help you get to the point where you can do more than 7 pushups. Find out how many you can do at one time to find you max. I want you to take you maximum and multiply it by 5, that is how many pushups I want you to do a day, and I want you to do it 3 times a week. Each set should only be 50% of your maximum.

Tip #2: MAKE SURE TO GIVE YOUR BODY A CHANCE TO REST. If you are doing this 3 times a week, I recommend you have a rest day in between before doing it again. Not only will you see your strength increase, but you will also see your ability to do this exercise increase as well. If you are starting at the beginning and you stick to this, you are really going to see some great results.

Tip #3: MAKE SURE TO MAKE PROGRESSION. Once you get to the point where you can do 20-30 alternative pushups, I want you to start doing them the traditional way. From there figure out how many you can do without stopping, and repeat the same process as before.

Tip #4: YOU NEED TO DO PLANKS. Anytime you are holding your body in that rigid position, you are working your core. There are a lot of muscles that are involved, so doing planks will help build your core. Practice your planks on non-push up days, and that will also help you do more pushups.

Tip #5: LOSE WEIGHT! If you have a lot of extra weight and fat, that is going to kill your pushups. If you lose weight and do this program, you are going to really increase your pushups.
