In a lot of our videos on testosterone, we give you some great exercises to help boost your production of testosterone. This time, I am going to tell you how to boost your testosterone levels without working out. Today, we are going to talk about removing some things and adding some things to your daily routine. Now, let’s get started with the tips on how to increase testosterone levels in older males without working out.
Tip #1: LOSE WEIGHT. You need to lose belly fat. Having too much fat can make it where your body’s natural production of testosterone, instead produces estrogen. Estrogen actually helps your body store fat. The more testosterone we have, the more efficient our body is at using fat as a source of energy.
Tip #2: EAT “GREAT”. It is hard to make sure that we are eating right, and getting what we need everyday. That is why it can be helpful to use supplements to help make sure you are getting what you need daily, to help you with your natural production of testosterone. Tip #3: LOWER STRESS LEVELS. Everyone is at different levels of stress, but you need to find your way to relieve yourself from stress. When you have chronic stress, your body produces a hormone called cortisol. If you feel like you are constantly under stress, there are so many different ways to lower it that you can try. It can be different for everybody on how to lower stress.
Tip #4: GET GOOD SLEEP. Most of the testosterone in our body is produced at night when we are sleeping. You need to aim for 7-9 hours of sleep a night, and it needs to be good quality REM sleep. Really try to make this a priority, if it is something that you haven’t been doing.
