Leg Workout With Bad Knees…https://www.liveanabolic.com

Do you have bad knees, but still want to be able to work your legs? The exercise we are going to do, and its variations, are things that anyone can do..even if you have bad knees. It is going to be a lot harder than it looks, and all you need is a wall. You can do this anywhere, with or without dumbbells, depending on if you have them. We are going to do different variations of wall sits in this workout, and this is a great isometric exercise.

Exercise #1: STANDARD WALL SITS. You are going to hold a 90 degree position on the wall. Place your feet about 8-10 inches apart. Your legs and thighs are at a 90 degree angle, and your thighs and upper body are at a 90 degree angle. If you struggle with this, you can do a 45 degree angle wall sit to help with your knees. Do 3 exercises of this exercise. If you need more difficulty, add more time per rep or do more sets.

Exercise #2: DUMBBELL WALL SITS. You can place the dumbbells or weighted plates on your thighs to add more resistance. You don’t need to hold the wall sit as long when you have more resistance added. Even just a little added resistance will make a huge difference.

Exercise #3: ONE-LEGGED WALL SITS. You will need to lean slightly to one side, and do one leg at a time. You are going to feel a huge burn in your thigh when you do one leg at a time. Make sure to try and hold each side for 20 seconds.

Exercise #4: BICEP CURLS WITH WALL SITS. You can do a lot of things while doing wall sits, even working your arms. Challenge yourself when doing this workout to work your legs, and even adding your upper body to the workout.

Exercise #5: LATERAL RAISES/OVERHEAD PRESSES WITH WALL SITS. This is a great way to work your shoulders with less stress, while working your legs at the same time.

I want you to hold the walls sits for 20 seconds for each set. Doing isometric exercises is a great way to work your legs, without causing pain and discomfort in your knees.
