Guys… Why does losing weight after 40 have to be so hard? IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE! Follow along as I give you some tips on how to lose weight after 40.

As you get older you have less testosterone, your ability to recover from daily activities is slower than it used to be, and your activity levels tend to lower. Also, as you get older, you tend to lose your physical ambition as opposed to when you were younger.

When you get older, it is the health benefits that are most important. The more fat you have on your body and around your gut, the lower your testosterone levels are going to be.

Here are some things you can do to lose weight after 40:

Tip #1: Eat better. Eliminate bad foods/processed foods from your diet. You want to have nutrient dense foods.

Tip #2: EAT AT A CALORIC DEFICIT. Take in less calories than you burn. You want to have good lean protein sources, and fibrous carbs and some fruits. Avoid drinking a lot of alcohol.

Tip #3: GET ACTIVE. Physical activities are very important. I recommend getting out because the best workouts can come from working out at the gym. It can be hard to get motivated and stay focused when working out at home compared to going to the gym.

Tip #4: KEEP A JOURNAL. Document your journey and your progress. This will help motivate you to be better and want to look better. It is also good to help you follow a plan and stick to it to achieve your goals.

Tip #5: FOLLOW A PLAN. You want to follow a plan that is designed to get you to your goal.

Tip #6: PRIORITIZE YOUR SLEEP. Get at least 8 hours of sleep every night.

Tip #7: CARE ABOUT YOURSELF. Put in the work to better yourself, and do it for you!
