It can be hard to build muscle with resistance bands…especially the larger muscle groups.

Bands are a great piece of equipment for the smaller muscle groups like arms and shoulders.

Here are 5 exercises you can do with resistance bands that can still build muscle:

Exercise 1: Bicep Curls
Exercise 2: Tricep Pushdowns
Exercise 3: Lateral Raises
Exercise 4: Chest Flys (best with 2 sets of bands and 2 anchor points)
Exercise 5: Lat Pulldowns

If you need to make the exercises more difficult, but you don’t have more bands to add…slow down the reps. Adding more time under tension will surely make it more difficult.
