Guys, you don’t need to go to the gym to get a bigger back. You don’t need a lot of time to do this workout, so no more excuses for not doing this workout. I am going to give you a 6 minute 60 year old at home back workout with dumbbells. The back is one of the most neglected muscle groups because it is not one that you can see, unless you are looking in the mirror. No more of that, it is time to get a bigger back. The exercises in this workout are going to be timed sets, instead of reps based. Let’s get started with the exercises in this at home back workout with dumbbells.
Exercise #1: SUPERMANS. Lay flat on your stomach, put your hands out wide in front of you, and put your head down. Now, lift your hands, head, and feet off the floor at the same time, hold for 5 seconds, then go back down. Repeat this for 60 seconds, and do it for 2 sets.
Exercise #2: PLANKS. Lay on the ground then go on your elbows and toes. You want your back to be flat and parallel to the ground, and make sure to squeeze your core. Hold it for 25 seconds, rest for 5 seconds then do it again for 25 seconds. You are going to do the 25 second holds for a total of 4 times.
Exercise #3: ALTERNATING LIMB EXTENSIONS. Get on the floor with your knees and hands. You are going to lift your arm and your opposite leg at the same time. Hold each rep for 10 seconds, and do those alternating for a total of 2 minutes.
This is a quick workout that you can do anywhere because it requires no equipment and not a lot of your time. Just because it is a quick workout, does not mean it is easy. You will get results from this 6 minute back workout, and if you need to add more difficulty, you can increase the time for each exercise.
