How To Build Your Shoulders With Dumbbells Only …

Working out at home is more popular now, than it ever has been. Shoulders are a small muscle group that can tend to be forgotten. That is why I want to show you how to build your shoulder with dumbbells only with these 4 best exercises. We are going to hit all sides of our delt in these 4 exercises. Shoulders being a smaller muscle group, you do not need a lot of weight to build them. I want you to aim for 8-10 reps of 3 sets for each of these exercises, with 60 seconds rest after each set. That being said, let’s get started with these 4 best exercises to build your shoulders at home.

Exercise #1: TYI’S. Use an incline bench for this exercise. You are going to do a T formation, a Y formation, and I formation, and that is going to be one rep. I want you to aim for 8-10 reps, and because this exercise involves more movements I recommend using lighter weight. You are hitting all parts of your delts in this exercise, making it a big bang for your buck exercise. You are really going to feel the burn in your shoulders after this exercise.

Exercise #2: SEATED Y-PRESS. When you bring the dumbbells up, do not just go straight up. I want you to bring them up and out, which will put more tension on your delts. This will work your rear and medial delts.

Exercise #3: SIDE LATERAL TO FRONT RAISE. You are going to raise the dumbbells to your side, bring them in front of you, bring them down, back up, to the side, and back down. That is going to be one rep. Just like the first exercise, you are really going to feel the burn in this movement. Another big bang for your buck exercise because of the movements and the time under tension. Even though it is more involved with the reps, still aim for 8-10 reps.

Exercise #4: SEATED OVERHEAD PRESS. Use a supinated grip in this exercise, and that is going to work your front delts. Keep your core tight, and you want to bring the dumbbells straight up. Pressing-style exercises are great for building shoulder mass, which is why I incorporated 2 of those exercises in this video.
