Shoulders are a good looking muscle, especially when you have nice and rounded boulder shoulders. Even having traps that add the angle from your neck to your shoulders is nice to have. Since they are a smaller muscle group, you do not need to work them too hard to grow them. A great piece of equipment you can use to build your shoulders is resistance bands. You can get a set of resistance bands and workout from the comfort of your own home, and get some great results!
There are not too many exercises, at least not a ton of variety, to work your shoulders. However, there are the front, mid, and rear delts you need to work. The key to get rounded shoulders that stand out, is to make sure you are working all parts of your shoulders.
