It can be frustrating when you are working out and eating right, and you still aren’t losing weight consistently. That is why I am going to share with you the best tips and exercises to lose weight at home, and be able to do it consistently. Believe it or not, but sometimes your gut can be the cause of your lack of progress with your weight loss. It may not be that you are eating bad foods, but more that you are eating foods that are not ideal for your stomach/gut environment. Now, here are some tips and exercises for you to lose weight at home.
Tip #1: OPTIMIZE YOUR NUTRITION. When you are younger you can follow all of those fad diets, but as you get older you want to eat in a way that will optimize your hormones, recovery, a healthy metabolism, and more. You don’t want to completely cut out a macronutrient group to lose weight. Protein is the most important thing to have as an older man, and when you are trying to build muscle. Tip #2: TRY INTERMITTENT FASTING. If you feel a little stagnant with your weight loss consistency then you should try intermittent fasting. Try to pick a fasting plan that works well with your schedule, so that you can do it consistently. One of the most popular fasting schedules is the “16-8 fast”. This is when you don’t eat for 16 hours then you have an 8 hour eating window. For most people, the eating window is 12-8.
Tip #3: DO HIIT CARDIO CONSISTENTLY. High Intensity Interval Training is one of the best types of cardio for burning fat and losing weight. Another perk of HIIT Cardio is it does not take a lot of time. You can burn a lot of calories in just under a 30 minute HIIT Cardio workout. It also helps increase your muscle building hormones.
