Don’t give up! I promise you CAN build muscle!

Here are the 4 crucial things you need to do to rebuild muscle after 50:

#1: Don’t work the same muscle group 2 days in a row! If you hit a muscle hard, you need at least 3 to 4 days rest before hitting it again. If you are doing a full body circuit style workout, then you don’t hit any one muscle group all that hard, so in that case you only need 1-2 days rest.

#2: Try a supplement that promotes muscle growth and recovery. But get your nutrition dialed in first. Supplements are just that… supplements – not “primaries”. But I see tons of men get fantastic results from getting on a supplement and being consistent with it.

#3: Incorporate advanced techniques like supersets, drop sets, and rest/pause sets. This will help increase the intensity of your workouts, and focus more on the muscles you are trying to build.

#4: Hit your legs! Don’t skip leg day. Those are the biggest muscles in your body and when you work them hard you send signals to your brain to ramp up production of your natural testosterone.
