If you want to lose fat, cutting down on your carb intake is a fantastic and the most efficient way to do it. Not all carbs are bad, fibrous carbs are great for you to have. It is the complex carbs you need to be careful of, both when and how much you consume. I am going to give you 3 substitute foods that you can use in lieu of high carb foods that are eaten on a regular basis. When it comes to cutting out carbs completely, you want to avoid that. Food #1: RICE. It is great for you because it is not processed, and is a natural carbohydrate. It is good to occasionally swap out normal rice with cauliflower rice for cutting out calories from carbs, but still giving you the carbs that you need.
Food #2: PASTA. This is a highly processed carbohydrate. You can try this substitute called spaghetti squash. These are great veggies and are high in antioxidants. This is a great substitute to get healthy carbs, while still avoiding too much of a caloric intake.
Food #3: GRAPEFRUIT instead of a BANANA. A banana has 30 grams of carbs, and a grapefruit only has 13 grams of carbs.
