One of the most looked after things to have when improving your fitness is the one and only six pack. Getting those abs to show takes more than just working out, you need to focus on your nutrition too. You want to have a strong and sculpted midsection. In the previous video, I showed you exercises to help you get a six pack. Now, I am going to give you 3 must needed tips to help you get a six pack. Building six pack abs is not an easy thing to accomplish. It takes time, consistency, and commitment. With this said, here are the 3 tips and the best way to get a six pack.
Tip #1: THERE IS NOT AN “OVERNIGHT” TRICK TO GET A 6 PACK. Shedding fat and building muscle is hard work, and you need to be fully committed to make this happen. You need to have an effective nutrition strategy and program to get a six pack, you can’t just have one or the other. One of the best nutrition strategies for this is carb-cycling. You want to have enough carbs to fuel your workouts, but not too much that elicits fat storage. You need to workout 4-5 days a week, and eat 0.7 grams of carbs per pound of body weight on the days you are working out. You also need to make sure that you are eating enough protein to make sure you are building muscle. Eat one gram of protein per pound of your goal body weight.
Tip #2: HIIT CARDIO. This is a key part for burning fat optimally. Aim to do HIIT Cardio 3-4 days per week. It is a technique that involves short intervals of high intensity exercises, followed by periods of rest, and repeating this process. This will help you burn fat and build muscle quickly. Exercises like sprinting, biking, and rowing are great examples of HIIT exercises.
Tip #3: WORK YOUR AND TO BUILD MUSCLE NOT JUST STRENGTH. You can not just do static exercises because that is more for building strong abs. You also need to do exercises that will help you build the 6 pack muscles. Here are some great exercises you can do. Hanging Leg Raises, Reverse Crunches, Ab Kickouts, Russian Twists, Cable Crunches, and classic Planks.
