Why is working your abs so important? Well the answer is simple, it builds your core and your core is so critical for your everyday life. Your core also protects your lower back and helps you with everyday movement. So, does having abs look good? Yes, but there is more to it than just the appearance. With all this said, here are the 3 ab exercises you need in 2022.
Exercise #1: REVERSE CRUNCHES. Your back is going to stay flat on the ground for the entire movement, so you are not putting any stress on your back. For the entire range of motion, keep your knees bent. You are going to pull your knees up to your chest, and don’t let your feet touch the ground during the movement.
Exercise #2: FLUTTER KICKS. Again, you are going to be laying flat on your back for the entire movement. You can have a slight bend in your knees, but keep them straight out, and put your hands under your butt for support. You are going to be kicking your feet in the air alternating side to side, and don’t let your feet hit the ground for the whole movement.
Exercise #3: RUSSIAN TWIST. We are going side to side in this exercise, which will also work your obliques. If you are a beginner, you can keep your feet on the ground and twist from side to side. To make it more advanced, you can lift your feet off the ground while you are doing the twists. You can also add a dumbbell or some sort of resistance to make this exercise more difficult as well.
