That is why I am going to give you the 10 muscle building foods that you must have as a man over 40. Besides helping you look good, why is building more muscle so important?
Muscle helps control your body fat because having more muscle on your body will help you burn fat. Having excess body fat increases the risk of health issues. Your entire body will gain strength with muscle gain, especially your bones. Muscle will help protect your joints, and can even help alleviate your current joint pain. With this said, let’s get into the 10 must have muscle building foods for men over 40.
Food #1: EGGS. Eggs are a high quality protein. Egg whites add pure protein with no fats or carbs. The egg yolks add vitamin D and increase testosterone production, and contain healthy cholesterol.
Food #2: GRASS FED BEEF. It is loaded with amino acids, iron, b-vitamins, and creatine. There is also a mixture of saturated fat, which helps support testosterone levels.
Food #3: SALMON. High in Vitamin-D, Omega 3 fatty acids, help improve heart health. The zinc helps repair muscles through protein synthesis.
