As we get older, to stay lean, we need to make sure we are eating good foods to help with results. Let’s get started with the top 10 fat burning foods for men over 40.

Food #1: EGGS. This is one of the perfect protein sources you can have. Having 3-4 eggs a day will help you stay lean, while also building muscle. I am talking about the whole egg as well, not just the yolks or egg whites.

Food #2: CHICKEN BREAST. A hand-sized serving of chicken breast will give you about 25-30 grams of protein. Since we are talking about fat loss, make sure you use skinless chicken breast and prepare it by roasting, grilling, or baking.

Food #3: PROTEIN POWDER. Use either a WHEY or BEEF PROTEIN ISOLATE POWDER that is low in carb content, and fewer than 200 calories per serving. This will help you get your daily protein, which will help with muscle growth. Thus, helping you to burn fat easier.

Food #4: VEGETABLES. You want vegetables that are full of micronutrients. The darker the vegetable, the higher the fiber content. Broccoli, beats, cauliflower, and carrots are some good examples of veggies you should have.
